Orders

The best way is to register via the contact form on our website so that we can send you more information.
It should be discussed together with the clinical orthotist prosthetist whether a macu4 prosthesis or orthoprosthesis is suitable. We will be happy to provide further information.
It usually takes about 3 weeks for a socket/cuff and/or activity module to be shipped to the customer. The goods should then arrive after a further 7 days - depending on which country was ordered from.
If you are unsure, we will be happy to assist you in choosing the right system, size and modules. If a macu4 Explorer socket is to be purchased, then the macu4-supported self-measurement is a prerequisite.

Cost

Cost coverage varies greatly from country to country. The insurance company often makes a case-related assessment. The assumption of costs must be clarified by the users themselves or via their orthopaedic technician.

The forearm prosthesis socket is a custom-made product and is made to order. There is a possibility that the socket may need to be retrofitted with padding material to be gentler on sensitive areas of the arm that have not been previously identified. The order of CE-marked components can always be cancelled if the goods have not yet been shipped. The order of the Explorer prosthesis socket is a special production. Cancellation is not possible if production has already been initiated. Therefore, contact the macu4 support team immediately via support@macu4.com.
